Call of Duty: Warzone Clip Sees Deployable Cover Used In Clever Way
A neat Call of Duty: Warzone clip shows a player using deployable cover in a brilliant way, as they take down a vehicle with the field upgrade.
Call of Duty: Warzone gives players plenty of different tools to use in their matches. While Deployable Cover may not be the most popular field upgrade available, a Call of Duty: Warzone clip shows that players can actually do a lot with the item.
For Call of Duty: Warzone players that have never bothered using Deployable Cover, the field upgrade is exactly what it sounds like. Players who pick up the item or have it equipped in their loadout will be able to place down a metal slab of cover wherever they want. This piece of cover has an open area in the center that allows players to aim and shoot at their foes, exposing only their heads. While it is useful to have a piece of cover when traversing empty, open land, Deployable Cover has often been ignored by the community.

With Call of Duty: Warzone Season 1 bringing a nerf for Dead Silence and removing Stopping Power rounds, the field upgrade meta has changed. Deployable Cover is now picked up more often, meaning that players will want to make note of how it was used by Redditor bLouGoo. While players may not expect the metal piece of cover to stop a truck in its tracks, that is exactly what it does in the player's footage – something that likely left the truck driver stunned and confused.
The clip begins with the player running around some rocks and plants before stepping onto one of the many roads in Caldera. However, they quickly notice that they are not safe, turning to their left to see a massive truck speeding toward them. With no time to move out of the way, they improvise, tossing down their Deployable Cover onto the ground right before the enemy runs them over. Surprisingly, the small piece of cover stops the vehicle right in its tracks, with the player's great reaction time saving them from certain death.
With the truck stopped, bLouGoo wastes no time capitalizing on the confusion of their enemies. They gun down the enemy riding in the back of the truck, and while the driver does their best to speed away, the Redditor delivers a well-aimed Sniper shot to finish off their foe. Given how well this trick worked out for the player, others may want to try replicating it. In the comments, bLouGood confirms that the cover will stop all of Call of Duty: Warzone's vehicles, though it does require precise timing.
While there have been plenty of memorable Call of Duty: Warzone clips shared online, this one is particularly useful. For players who find themselves getting roadkilled often, having some Deployable Cover ready for self-defense would absolutely be a wise idea.
Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
